Description
The Ocean Club boasts an immaculately landscaped parcel of maritime forest that reaches from the Intracoastal Waterway to the Atlantic Ocean on the South Outer Banks of North Carolina. Guests enjoy not only the beach, but also two pools (one heated year round) and two hot tubs! Children enjoy summer programs, as well as the children's pool and play area. Adults may wish to utilize The Ocean Club Spa, located on the grounds of The Ocean Club. There are tennis courts, a putting green and a pavilion as well.
Our "villa" is a private end unit that is steps away from the boardwalk which is elevated over the sand dunes and leads to the ocean. The master bedroom is very private and overlooks the maritime forest. The second bedroom (known as the "lighthouse room") has a queen size bed, and the third bedroom (known as the "turtle room") has a trundle bed that children seem to love. The flashes from Cape Lookout Lighthouse can be seen from our beach on a clear night, and there have been protected Loggerhead Turtle nests a short distance from our beach.
The newly expanded North Carolina Aquarium in Pine Knoll Shores is a short drive from the condo as is the famous Civil War Fort Macon which is located at one end of the island. Nearby Morehead City boasts a world class fishing tournament, and the cities of Beaufort and Swansboro have wonderful shopping and superb dining!
